Birdseye View of Osaka

As seen from the Umeda Sky Building

When you’re on the ground it’s hard to understand the size of a city. So, when I have a chance I like to observe a city from the tallest building. The view is always exciting! In Osaka, I went to Umeda Sky Building. The 173-meter tall building consists of two main towers connected with each other by the "Floating Garden Observatory" on the 39th floor. The design of Umeda was inspired by famous skyscrapers of New York and futuristic projects of Russian architects of the 1920’s. The Floating Garden Observatory is open every day from 10:00am to 10:30pm. There are no closing days and entrance to the building is accepted until 10:00pm. The admission fee is ¥800.
