Nagoya’s skyline is getting a splash of ocean magic this summer as Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER transforms its observation deck into an immersive underwater world.

Running from July 1st to September 13th, 2026, NAKED AQUA FANTASIA invites visitors to step inside a dazzling projection mapping experience high above the city. Created by renowned digital art company NAKED, INC., the event takes over the 90-metre-high Sky Deck inside Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER, blending Nagoya’s famous night views with vibrant marine-inspired digital art.

The centerpiece is a 360-degree projection mapping show that covers the deck’s windows, floor, and ceiling. Visitors will follow a glowing orca on a journey through a fantastical ocean filled with marine life, creating the sensation of being submerged beneath the waves while still overlooking the city lights below.

This year’s edition places a greater emphasis on participation, with interactive elements designed for visitors of all ages. One highlight is Bubble Buddies, where dolphins, penguins, orcas, and other sea creatures appear among floating bubbles and react to guests’ movements. Families can also enjoy special dance sessions that transform the observation deck into an underwater dance floor complete with music, light effects, and ocean-themed visuals.

Children will receive sparkling sticks that allow them to become part of the experience, adding even more color to the aquatic spectacle.

Tickets are priced at 1,800 JPY for adults and 800 JPY for elementary and junior high school students, while preschool-aged children can enter free. For travelers visiting Nagoya this summer, it offers a unique chance to experience the city’s nightscape from an entirely different perspective, where the ocean meets the sky.
