A new spring experience is coming to Patina Osaka as the hotel marks its first cherry blossom season with a special promotion, "SAKURA Bloom at Patina Osaka," running from March 1st to April 30th, 2026. Located across from Osaka Castle Park, which is home to around 3,000 cherry trees, the seasonal program focuses on dining, wellness, and accommodation experiences inspired by Japan's sakura season.
The hotel opened in May 2025 as the first Japanese property from Capella Hotel Group. Its location offers direct views over Osaka Castle Park, making it a convenient base for visitors hoping to enjoy the blossoms without leaving the city.
One of the main highlights is the Nijiri Tea Lounge on the 19th floor, where guests can view the cherry blossoms from above. A limited-time Sakura Afternoon Tea, available from March 10th to April 30th, features seasonal sweets and savory items using strawberries, berries, matcha, and cherry blossom flavors.
From March 27th to April 5th, the hotel will also offer a Night Cherry Blossom Dining experience with illuminated views of Osaka Castle. The menu includes spring appetizers, chirashi sushi, and cherry blossom-themed desserts. Meanwhile, the SONATA Bar & Lounge will host a Sakura Terrace Experience, serving seasonal dishes and drinks alongside views of the surrounding park and city skyline.
Guests staying overnight can choose a special accommodation plan that includes sakura-themed amenities and park views. The hotel spa will also offer a limited-time treatment featuring a cherry blossom foot bath and massage.
