Osanbashi Pier is an astounding place: It is surrounded by the sea, it features Yokohama's best view of the Minato Mirai skyline, and it is one of the most creative architectural achievements you are every likely to visit. Made of strips of wood, this long, curvy, funky pier also has large sections of grass, making it an ideal place to have a picnic. Depending on how you view it, it can also be a fascinating piece of abstract art.
