Riusuke Fukahori is a Nagoya-born contemporary artist who focuses on one specific subject matter in his work: goldfish. Fukahori is well-known for his use of resin and paint to make ultra-realistic 3D creations, and a special exhibition taking place at the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum explores these unique pieces.

Getting there

The Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum is located a three minute walk from the Dejima tram stop, a five minute walk from the Nagasaki Shinchi Bus Terminal, or a 15 minute walk from the JR Nagasaki Station.

For those who plan to drive to the museum, it's located approximately 5 minutes from the Nagasaki exit on the Nagasaki Expressway. Paid parking is available on-site, and discounts are given to those who attend museum exhibitions, or the museum cafe and shop. Present your parking ticket at the entrance and the staff will validate it for you.
