Sweet potato addiction

Imoya Kinjiro is a sweet potato specialty shop selling everything sweet potato -- soft cream, chocolate covered sweet potato, sweet potato muffins. But the undisputed bestseller of the shop: sweet potato sticks freshly deep fried in olive oil and sold in nostalgic looking brown bags that look oil-stained (don't worry, the oil stain is a design). At ¥500 for a bag, it seems pretty pricey for an old-fashioned snack. Like most people, you might try the free sample from the generous pile in front of the warmer to see what the fuss is all about. If you do, you will need to surrender your ¥500 because it will be impossible to limit yourself to one stick. If you're with someone, you will not want to share. Imoya Kinjiro has sweet potato sticks in bags and boxes with longer shelf life to give as gifts.
