Chuka Soba Inoue is a well-known ramen shop in the Tsukiji outer market. The shop serves only classic shoyu ramen with a light but delicious broth with bamboo and thin slices of lean pork. The ramen is inexpensive at ¥650 and there is very little wait since things move quickly. The shop opens early at 4:30 a.m. and closes after lunchtime. There are no seats and eaters dine standing, but this unique Tsukiji institution is a great place to start off an early morning fish market excursion with a hearty bowl of noodles.
