Miffy, the iconic rabbit character created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna, celebrated its 65th anniversary last year. In conjunction with the Miffy Exhibition being held at the PLAY! Museum in Tachikawa, an additional event will be held at PLAY! Kichijoji on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from August 6th until September 5th.

The Kichijoji portion of the event will involve a number of hands-on activities for visitors to enjoy, including silk screen printing workshops. Participants are able to either bring their own paper or fabric items to print onto, or purchase items like tote bags at the venue to decorate.

For those wanting to pick up additional souvenirs from their visit, there will be a variety of event-exclusive merchandise available at the museum shop such as Miffy sweatshirts and books.

Getting there

PLAY! Kichijoji is located approximately 7 minutes on foot from Kichijoji Station, which is served by the Chuo Line, the Chuo-Sobu Line, and the Keio Inokashira Line.
