As summer reaches its peak in Tokyo, thunderstorms and haze often roll in to taint the skyline. For many, a clear winter day is the best time to get your money's worth out of an observation deck, but I beg to differ. Haze and thunderstorms often produce a spectacular gloomy atmosphere as the sun sets, one that is best enjoyed from an observation deck.
The Seaside Top Observatory is easily accessible from JR Hamamatsucho Station and open daily from 10:00~20:30.
