Located at the Tokyo Skytree complex (opened in May 2012 to the public), the Sumida Aquarium is one of its main attractions, housing more than 10,000 sea creatures. This two-floor beautifully designed modern aquarium features a 350,000 liter tank with dozens of penguins and fur seals, a gorgeous jellyfish display and research laboratory, tanks with a variety of living beings, from the tiniest little fish to huge sharks, and from gender-changing creatures to mysterious worm-like beings, and much more. It's sure to be a fascinating visit.
