Mentai Park Tokoname is a theme park dedicated to mentaiko, a flavorful Japanese delicacy made from marinated pollock roe. Operated by Kanefuku, a well-established mentaiko manufacturer, the park offers a fun and educational experience where visitors can learn about the production process and enjoy a variety of unique dishes featuring this beloved seafood ingredient.

One of the highlights of Mentai Park is its factory tour, where visitors can observe the production process up close and see how fresh mentaiko is prepared. The park also features a direct sales shop offering freshly made mentaiko straight from the factory, allowing guests to take home high-quality products. At the Mentai Museum, interactive exhibits, games, and videos explain the history and craftsmanship behind mentaiko, making it a fun learning experience for both kids and adults.

For those looking to taste mentaiko in different ways, the food court serves a variety of dishes that highlight its rich, umami-packed flavor. From rice bowls and onigiri to pasta and mentaibutaman (steamed mentaiko and pork buns), these exclusive creations are a must-try. If you're game, you can also try the mentaiko soft serve ice cream—but if not, they also have a regular milk flavor!
