The 2015 International Travel Fair is being held at Osaka Station this Saturday and Sunday (the 24th and 25th) from 10:30am-7:30pm. Twelve nations from around the world and twenty two prefectural and regional governments from around Japan will have booths promoting tourism to their respective countries and areas.

The event is free and open to the public and, in addition to the various booths, a fashion show showcasing the various styles worn in each country will be the fair’s opening event on Saturday (starts at 10:50am), and the Nara Philharmonic Orchestra will give a mini-concert on Sunday (starts at 10:50am also). There will also be a “Marche” showcasing and selling goods, arts and crafts from the countries and prefectures exhibited, and a “Gourmet Fair” featuring foods indigenous to each area. Four staged events will also take place.

The 2015 International Travel Fair is organized and sponsored by Nara Prefecture in cooperation with JR West Japan
