A daily bus service has started from Chubu Centrair International Airport to Kanzanji, a popular hot-spring resort on the eastern shore of Lake Hamana, close to Hamamatsu.

Run by the Entetsu transportation company, the 'E-Wing' bus leaves Centrair at 12:30pm, arriving in Kanzanji at 2:30pm, and costs ¥3100 one way.

(It looks like there isn't a return route, but Entetsu has plenty of buses to Centrair each day from Hamamatsu station, which is easily reached from Kanzanji.)

The bus has a large hold for luggage, and passengers are allowed two bags up to 30kg each. However, they're not able to carry bicycles or surfboards.

This new service will be useful for travelers arriving at Centrair wishing to experience the atmosphere of a traditional hot-spring resort.
