From May 8 Finnair will fly direct from Helsinki to Fukuoka, the largest city in Kyushu, with excellent connections by train to Western Japan as well as connecting flights into Okinawa. Their AY075 flights depart at 1630 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving in Fukuoka at 0800 the following day.

It is the fourth Japanese city to be served from Helsinki, in addition to Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo. Finnair, together with its oneworld partners British Airways and Japan Airlines, offers frequent and timely connections between Europe and Japan. If you are in Fukuoka Airport in May, give the Finnish crew a warm Japanese welcome!
