Starting on January 15th, 2025, the beloved brunch cafe chain FLIPPER'S will introduce a special collaboration menu featuring two iconic Sanrio characters—My Melody and Cinnamoroll. This collaboration celebrates My Melody’s 50th anniversary and Cinnamoroll’s continued popularity, having won the Sanrio Character Awards Grand Prix for an impressive five consecutive years. The limited-time menu will be available until February 28th, 2025 at all FLIPPER’S Japan locations, including those in Shimokitazawa, Jiyugaoka, Kichijoji, Shibuya, and Osaka Umeda.
In honor of My Melody’s birthday on January 18th, Cinnamoroll will temporarily take over as the store manager at FLIPPER'S branches, adding a touch of fun and whimsy. The menu will feature themed soufflé pancakes, starting with the “Miracle Pancake My Melody,” which includes heart-shaped Tochiaika strawberries known for their sweetness alongside crispy meringue accents. This strawberry-filled soufflé creation is paired with “My Melody’s Strawberry Milk,” made from a rich strawberry sauce and topped with vanilla bean whipped cream.
Meanwhile, fans of Cinnamoroll will enjoy the “Miracle Pancake Cinnamoroll,” inspired by the character’s flight through the sky. The fluffy pancakes are complemented by apple compote, cinnamon roll-like dough, and a beautiful blue meringue which gets its color from butterfly pea. To complete the experience, Cinnamoroll’s “Homemade Chai” offers a warm, spiced drink topped with vanilla whipped cream and chocolate stars.
For those looking for the ultimate treat, a special “Miracle Pancake Collection” set, including both the themed pancakes and drinks, will be available. As a bonus, customers who order the collection sets will receive an exclusive, limited-edition key charm, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
