After a two year hiatus, Freshness Burger is hosting an Okinawa Fair and bringing back the SPAM® Burger and Classic Taco Cheese Burger.
This is the third installment in the fast food chain’s annual campaign, delivering authentic burgers based on global flavors. This year, they are highlighting Okinawa and returning the highly requested SPAM® Burger. The burger features thick sliced SPAM® in a sweet and spicy teriyaki sauce, a soft-boiled fried egg, tomato, and cabbage for 620 yen.
Returning in the same popular fashion is the Classic Taco Cheese Burger, inspired by Okinawa taco rice. The burger features purple cabbage, crunchy tortilla chips, lettuce, tomato, and spicy taco meat for 840 yen.
These soul food burgers can be enjoyed with a new side of freshly fried potatoes and island chili pepper mayonnaise dip for 390 yen.
Also made newly available are two refreshing drinks for 520 yen each—Shikuwasa lemonade soda made with frozen mango chunks and a lemonade soda with guava syrup and frozen pineapple chunks. Each one makes use of frozen fruit instead of ice, resulting in a fully flavored drink with every sip perfect for Japan's summer season.
From July 17 to August 27, enjoy the Okinawa Fair hosted at all Freshness Burgers.
