The craft festival Go For Kogei 2021 is a large-scale event being held in three Hokuriku prefectures (Fukui, Ishikawa, and Toyama) over a 45 day period. The festival is designed to showcase the appeal of Hokuriku region crafts, along with encouraging attendees to think about crafts in a different way — for instance, putting a focus on the techniques and the materials used.
The venues for the event include Shokoji Temple (Takaoka, Toyama), Natadera Temple (Komatsu, Ishikawa), and Otaki Shrine and Okamoto Shrine (Echizen, Fukui), along with the Noetica and SKLO galleries (both in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture).
Tickets for the event are priced at 3000 yen, and the admission fee includes access to all of the exhibition venues. Tickets can be arranged via the official website here.
