Walk a beautiful golden pathway through the woods

Mikoshi-Den Hall of Okafuto Shrine in Echizen city, Fukui, is located on the way to the Main Prayer Hall on the hillside, from another Prayer Hall which is located on the ground level. It can be accessed from both buildings. Mikoshi are festival floats, and inside this hall the festival floats are stored. The hall is usually closed, and only opened to the public on special occasions such as during festival time! In autumn, the most amazing thing here is the pathway. Even during the daytime it's quite dark, and the pathway carpeted with yellow fallen leaves is just breathtaking!
