Fukuoka City Botanical Garden

A vast array of flowers, gardens and beautiful scenery

Fukuoka City Botanical Garden is a great way to spend an afternoon amongst nature. Attached to the zoological gardens this can be a great day out for a family and is very inexpensive at just ¥400 for both the garden and the zoo. There is a rose garden, a herb garden and an observatory with spectacular views over Fukuoka City. During the week you will have this place all to yourself making it a superb spot to relax amongst the flora.

Getting there

It is easily accessible from JR Kyushu Hakata station.

Hi, I'm a University student from England. I like art, quiet coffee shops and of course travelling. I hope some of my finds can inspire you to explore Japan, and introduce some of the wonderful experiences and cultural heritage the country offers.
