Sanrio Characters Dream!ng Park

A dose of kawaii in Fukuoka

Japan is filled with long-loved destinations for Sanrio fans, from the indoor fantasy world of Tokyo's Sanrio Puroland to the open-air rides and character attractions of Harmonyland in Oita. Less widely known to overseas visitors, but just as charming, is Sanrio Characters Dream!ng Park in Fukuoka, an established interactive destination that continues to provide fun for both domestic and international fans alike.

Dream!ng Park is built around the concept of a dreamlike world, and after passing through the colorfully lit Dream!ng Gate, visitors step into a sparkling, storybook space where familiar Sanrio characters welcome guests as if they are old friends. At the heart of the park stands the large clock tower and Dream!ng Tree, a central meeting point where character encounters and photo opportunities unfold.

Unlike full-scale theme parks, Dream!ng Park is designed as a compact, communication-focused attraction that fits easily into a Fukuoka sightseeing day. Another nice aspect is that admission is free, making it especially attractive for inbound travelers watching their budgets. However, please note that participation in the interactive content requires tickets, starting at 500 JPY per attraction, with multi-ticket sets and a one-day passport also available.

The lineup includes the Dream!ng Music Party, where guests dance with the characters, the playful Dream!ng Ball Paradise, the Dream!ng SMILES AR SNAP for augmented-reality photos, and the energetic Dream!ng Ningen Tower Battle. Each experience is designed to be approachable, family-friendly, and easy to enjoy even for short visits.

Sanrio Characters Dream!ing Park is located on the 7th floor of the BOSS E · ZO FUKUOKA complex. The venue can be accessed in 15 minutes on foot from Tojinmachi Station, which is served by the Fukuoka City Subway's Kuko Line.
