A special exhibition taking place at the Higashi Hiroshima City Museum of Art in 2022 will explore various works from Grandma Moses, also known as Anna Mary Robertson Moses (1860 - 1961). Grandma Moses began her painting career in her late 70's, and she is often cited as someone who successfully started a different career path in her senior years.
Approximately 130 works will be displayed at the exhibition, which span the course of her career. Along with the art on display to appreciate, the event is also a celebration of 160 years since Grandma Moses' birth.
As yet, admission prices to the event have not been determined. This information should be released on the official website closer to the commencement date.
