<p>The big gate of Itsukushima shrine in the sea. The height is about 16.6 meters and weight about 60 tons according to a guide book. This is one of the highlights of MiyajimaIsland. Surprisingly, the gate stands under its own weight</p>

<p>Boat terminal of Miyajima entrance. There are a lot of larger ferry boats operating much more frequently, but taking a cruise on a boat is a lot of fun. This boat was from Hiroshima City, and takes 45 minutes</p>

Miyajima Island is located southwest of Hiroshima city in Hiroshima prefecture. The island contains lots of places of historic interest and cultural assets.

When walking on the beach of the island, we can enjoy a great combination of a beautiful calm sea and Japanese-style scenery. It sometimes leads to unusual views.
