Art, thankfully, has a huge presence in every major city and Kobe is no different.
In tune with the city’s international feeling, KAVC has a global presence and a large selection of mediums for you to enjoy. From film to photography, the centre lays host to a theatre, cinema and gallery space offering a deep immersion in rich culture. The gallery space on the first floor is in fact rentable, so exhibitions change quite often giving you a real taste of Kobe’s popular culture and art scene. There’s also a little café to enjoy a light lunch in the presence of a gallery.
For me there’s just something about smaller galleries like this. I really enjoy the intimacy and I highly recommend the Kobe Arts Village Centre.
