After visiting Kairakuen Park, I decided to walk along Lake Senba on the way to the train station. I knew it would be a 30 minute walk but I didn't mind. The cherry trees along the lake were too beautiful to pass up, and the animals along the way were a good distraction.

Aside from Kairakuen, other nearby attractions are Prefecture Museum of History, Museum of Modern Art, Tokiwa Shrine and Kobun Cafe.
