Autumn at Kenroku-en

One of Japan's best gardens

Famous garden Kenroku-en in Kanazawa is beautiful in every season, but I went there on a sunny autumn day and wandered around camera in hand for hours. There is plenty of moss and evergreen growth to contrast with the autumn colors. Autumn sunshine filtered through the trees and reflected off the pond, and I longed to stay there until the light faded away. I didn't, because Kanazawa has many attractions, but I really loved Kenroku-en!
