From bustling metropolises to scenic coastal towns, Japan boasts numerous world-class aquariums which are renowned for some exceptional displays of marine life. It would be almost impossible to visit them all, which is part of the motivation behind an upcoming exhibition from Japanese aquarium photographer Tsukasa Shiromi.
Japan's Beautiful Aquariums is set to showcase a glimpse of various aquariums across the country, giving some insight into these beautiful underwater worlds. The exhibition takes place at the Shikoku Aquarium Main Building, and although admission to the photo event is free, admission to the aquarium itself is required to access the building.
Getting there
Shikoku Aquarium is located approximately 12 minutes on foot from JR Utazu Station, which is served by the Yosan Line.
For those who opt to drive, the venue is around 40 minutes from Takamatsu Airport, or 10 minutes from Sakaide IC on the Seto Chuo Expressway. There is a paid parking facility near the aquarium.
