An upcoming event at the Kagoshima City Museum of Art will explore the works of Swedish artist Lisa Larson, who is known for her warm and simple Scandinavian-inspired ceramic pieces. In addition to her well-known works, the event will also include rare one-of-a-kind pieces that have never been shown in Japan, and items made of different materials such as glass and bronze.
General admission to the exhibition is priced at ¥1200, and do note that the museum is closed every Monday if you plan on visiting.
Getting there
The Kagoshima City Museum of Art is located around 10 minutes by taxi from Kagoshima Station, which is served by the Kagoshima Main Line. Buses are also available from the station to the museum area - take the Kagoshima City View Bus until you reach the stop for the Saigo Takamori Statue, and from there the museum is just a minute away on foot.
