Atsugi Air Base is a joint United States Navy and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force base located in Kanagawa Prefecture, and it has a history dating back to 1938. The base hosts an annual spring festival where the gates are open for the public to enjoy aircraft displays, live music performances, sales of American and Japanese foods, tea ceremony demonstrations, and more.
