In the autumn, Oiso Joyama Park lights up the fall colors of the Japanese maples using spotlights, and lines the park's walkways with candles to guide visitors through a magnificently peaceful and breathtaking garden. During the lighting festival, visitors can get a glimpse into traditional Japan through a rotation of performances including the shamisen and taiko, as well as foods like roasted yam and tonjiru soup.
