Enoshima is an island situated west of Kamakura that has become a haven for both foreigners and locals alike. The island has something for everyone: from huge waves and the chance to surf during spring or summer to even historical shrines paying homage to the origin of the land. For photographers, the scenery is also simply fantastic, with flowers atop the island to beautiful views of the city below. At times in fact, when the sky is clear, one can even catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji in the distance. This place is a definite must-see for all!
