There's no doubt that festive illumination events are beautiful, but they do have an environmental impact. The Enoshima Yacht Harbor ECO Christmas Illumination aims to shine an eco-friendly light (no pun intended) on the popular winter tradition, with 40 yachts set to be illuminated using electricity supplied from EV (electric vehicles) and FCV (fuel cell vehicles).
During the day, the harbor will be showcasing some of those vehicles, and there will also be a variety of hands-on workshops that attendees can take part in.
Admission to the event is free of charge.
