During hydrangea season for 2021, the Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora is offering a hydrangea-themed retreat for guests. All rooms at the hotel include private hot springs for the ultimate in relaxation, and the retreat also includes a hydrangea-inspired afternoon tea, and supper and breakfast served at the on-site Riverside Kitchen & Bar.
The hotel also has a large communal bath where digital art showcasing hydrangeas, fresh greenery, and glowing fireflies will be displayed.
The period for the Hydrangea Retreat package is from May 27th (Thursday) until July 15th (Thursday). Reservations can be made by visiting the official hotel website.
Getting there
The Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora is located a short bus ride (the hotel provides a shuttle bus service) from the west exit of Odawara Station, which is served by various lines including the Tokaido Shinkansen and the Tokaido Main Line. The shuttle departs from the station at 10:00, 12:30, 15:30, 16:30, and 17:30.
