Situated within the western limits of Kanagawa Prefecture lies the rugged peak of Mount Myojin-ga-take. Standing at 1169 meters high, this impressive mountain offers some truly exceptional panoramic views of the Ashigarara plains below.

Starting at Daiyuzan-Saijo-ji Temple, (a short bus ride away from Daiyuzan Station) and ending at Goro Station on the Hakone Tozan Line, this four hour plus hike offers something for everyone along with its star attraction - Mount Fuji in the near distance. Rising above the clouds like an island floating on the sea, it almost feels as if this majestic landmark is close enough to touch!
