Nurture love on the grass of Nippon Maru Memorial Park

They say nowadays young people have no interest in love. They say Japan will go extinct if young people stay uninterested in getting married. They say people prefer being alone to trying hard to find a partner, because falling in love is such a bother.

That was what I'd believed until I set foot on Nippon Maru Memorial Park in Yokohama's Minatomirai area. After I took pictures of Landmark Tower and Nippon Maru, I entered the Memorial Park and the pictures in this photo story were what I found there. There were lovers, lovers, lovers everywhere. I looked around 360 degrees, and all I saw were couples deep in their own private world in a public open space. And do you know what I thought? I thought, "Well, we don't have to worry, Japan's future is brilliant!". If you'd like to feel good about the future, Yokohama Bayside is the place you should head to!
