When plum blossoms come out at Jomyo-ji Temple, I feel that spring has come to Kamakura. It might still be a bit chilly, but my skin and nose catch the soft wind and I smell a sweet and sour fragrance near the plum trees. My eyes really enjoy those beautiful pink and white plum blossoms along with other pretty flowers. Soon after the plum blossoms, Kamakura will greet the Queen of flowers. Yes—the cherry blossoms!
