Moss covers the ground and some Japanese maples add to the green, just waiting to turn into vibrant red in mid-October: Renjo-in is a small but very neat temple with a beautiful garden. There are some stone lanterns and a stone pagoda, as well as a big metal bell, that round out the picture. You have access to Renjo-in from Hashimoto Station (JR Yokohama Line); it's located northeast of the station.
