Ryokan, Masuya, Hakone - a cozy little inn

The tatami room was small but clean and comfortable

The bath is 100% pure, healthy onsen water and is open 24 hours a day

The futons were already set out for easy use

This pretty river runs right through Masaya's nieghborhood

We arrived around 5PM, and caught the rays of the sun as it set

The delightful Little Prince Museum is just down the street

This cozy ryokan inn, Masuya, was a real find! Just a stone's throw away are both the Little Prince Museum and the Lalique Museum. There are also restaurants, a convenience store, a supermarket, and two bus stops (Sengoku & Sengoku-annaisho) in the neighborhood as well.

Inside, Masuya was cozy, with two great public baths (open 24 hrs a day) featuring milky white water that felt extremely healthy. Rates start at 3725 yen per day - a real steal considering!
