A fun picnic with friends beneath the cherry blossoms, completely with food and drinks and games...in a cemetery???  It would be unheard of in my home country, but that's exactly what makes traveling abroad so interesting. A short walk from Tsudayama Station (Nambu Line), Midorigaoka Reien is an enormous cemetery in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa, and is lined with hundreds of cherry trees that bloom into wonderful white clouds. There's a lively atmosphere here. People are everywhere, picnicking in the grassy areas around the graves. It was a beautiful spring day, so why not?  When in Rome...
