From mid-July until late August, Yokosuka Soleil Hill is filled with the color of approximately 100,000 sunflowers in bloom. On clear days there is also the possibility of seeing Mt. Fuji over Sagami Bay in the distance, making this an ultra-photogenic summertime destination.
Along with the multitude of beautiful flowers to enjoy, there will be a limited-time sunflower-inspired curry at the on-site restaurant, and a variety of hands-on workshops, including opportunities to make a sunflower wreath (1500 yen) or bake some sunflower-designed melon pan (1200 yen).
Admission to Yokosuka Soleil Hill is free of charge.
