<p>As you approach the park from Motomachi Station you are immediately presented with a colorful sight</p>

<p>Despite this park`s popularity it is still possible to find some peace and tranquility, albeit during weekdays</p>

<p>A distant highway, usually seen from the southern end of the park has been beautifully obscured by the presence of several cherry trees</p>

<p>Located a few meters away from the park along Yamashita-dori, it is possible to see a distant cherry tree reflecting off this mirror like structure</p>

Whether you’re a first time visitor or a long term resident, Yokohama`s Yamashita Park is a firm favorite on anyone`s itinerary, making it a popular place to visit throughout the year.

Spring is no exception to this rule as this park`s impressive landscape is transformed into a rich and colorful sea of bright pink by the presence of countless beautiful cherry trees.

Although I only planned to spend a couple of minutes here, the impressive sights and tranquil atmosphere compelled me to stay for several hours
