There are a host of reasons why it's a great idea to shop local. It keeps money in the community, it's better for the environment since goods don't need to be transported across long distances, and when it comes to things like food, it's fresher! The YB Marina Marche is a new event on the Yokohama calendar which puts a focus on all things local, and there will be fruits, vegetables, and even wines made in the region available for purchase. There will also be food carts with ready-to-eat goodies on offer.
Along with the event on July 4th, there will be two subsequent events held on the 12th of September and the 14th of November with the hours remaining the same (from 10 am until 3 pm).
Getting there
The YB Marina Marche takes place at the Yokohama Bayside Marina, which can be accessed in around 10 minutes on foot from Torihama Station (Kanazawa Seaside Line).
