I’ve visited many cities and towns in Japan and each of them has its own “spirit “ in my opinion. Tokyo is very busy, Kyoto is full of tourists, Matsumoto is quiet, Mito is the “swan’s town” and so on.
Among the cities there is one that I’ve visited many times – it’s Yokohama. Yokohama on a weekend is a very popular place to rest among the locals, so I watched the city scene and took photos. I like the spirit of Yokohama as a port city with seagulls and huge ships like Fuji Maru. The arrival of it is a great sight – it’s like a big floating house!
Yokohama is spacious, with modern architecture and an amusement park called Cosmo World, but most of all I like to watch people. I feel like Yokohama is a favorite place as Japanese people come there with families, friends and pets. Also Yokohama is very popular scene in Japanese dramas!
