A special exhibition taking place at the Kumamoto City Museum of Contemporary Art looks into the art and the story behind the Moomins, a popular cartoon created by Finnish author and illustrator Tove Jannson. The event will showcase around 500 different items such as original drawings and sketches, with a focus on pieces that belong to the Moomin Museum in Tampere, Finland.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 1300 yen.
*Do note, this is a separate event from the traveling Moomin Comic Strips Exhibition, which is currently moving its way around Japan.
