A special exhibition taking place at the Kyoto City Kyocera Museum is titled "Ancient Egypt - The Creation of the World". The event will showcase a range of pieces from the Egyptian Museum of Berlin, which is home to one of the most comprehensive collections from this region of the world. Around 130 works in total will be displayed, including excavated artifacts which are being exhibited in Japan for the first time ever.

Adult admission to the event is priced at 2000 yen, and while advance reservations aren't required, they are recommended.

Getting there

The Kyoto City Kyocera Museum is located approximately 8 minutes on foot from Higashiyama Station, served by the Tozai Subway Line.

For those who plan to drive to the museum, it is located around 7 kilometers from the Meishin Expressway's Kyoto Higashi IC exit. There are paid parking lots nearby to the museum, but taking public transportation is recommended.
