From June 1st until August 31st, The Thousand Kyoto will be hosting a fairy-themed summer afternoon tea. The event will include a range of sweet and savory dishes, scones, and all you can drink coffee and tea, surrounded by whimsical fairy and floral motifs.
The price per head for the afternoon tea is 5,594 yen (inclusive of tax), and reservations can be made via the official event website here. Do note that bookings must be made a minimum of two days in advance to secure a spot.
Getting there
The Thousand Kyoto is located around two minutes on foot from the JR Kyoto Station's Central Gate.
For those who opt to drive, the venue is around 20 minutes from the Kyoto Minami IC on the Meishin Expressway. Parking is available and discounts are provided for those who dine on site (3 hours free parking for any guests who spend over 3000 yen).
