Latest on Nijo CastleThe NAKED digital art collective was founded in 1997 by Japanese artist Ryotaro Muramatsu, and they are known for their unique and immersive art experiences. A seasonal event at the World Heritage listed Nijo Castle combines projection mapping with the historic structures of the castle grounds, creating a unique tradition-meets-modernity experience.
If you plan on attending, please note that pricing differs depending on when you purchase your tickets, and what day of the week you're visiting.
From Mondays through Thursdays, early-bird adult admission is 1600 yen, and on the day tickets are 2000 yen. On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the early-bird adult admission price is 2000 yen, with on the day tickets priced at 2400 yen. Getting there
Nijo Castle is located a short walk from Nijojo-mae Station, which is served by the Tozai Subway Line.
Paid on-site parking is available (details can be found here), but utilizing public transport where possible is advised.
