A spring day at at Nanzenji in Kyoto

<p>Blossoming branches before Nanzenji's windows  </p>

<p>A Buddhist service was taking place</p>

<p>Monks passing through the temple door</p>

<p>Covered passage between temple buildings</p>

<p>I wonder if his photos will be the same as mine?</p>

When I visited Nanzenji in the spring of 2014 I found a Buddhist service taking place in the Kyoto temple. Visitors peered in through the doors at the praying monks. The cherry blossoms around the temple were less dazzling and more modest and than many other places, but their beauty still shone in the dark corners around the ancient temple.
