From Friday October 23rd until Friday November 12th, the Kyoto Okazaki Tsutaya store will host an exhibition of works from artist Rieko Yamamoto. Born in Osaka in 1985, Yamamoto graduated from the Kyoto City University of Arts (Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Oil Painting) in 2011, and she has showcased her works in a number of exhibitions across Japan since then.
This event will display a variety of Yamamoto's recent artworks, with several of them available to purchase at the venue and online for those who may be interested. The online store will be updated with Yamamoto's available pieces on October 23rd to coincide with the start of the exhibition.
Admission is free of charge.
The Kyoto Okazaki Tsutaya store is located under 10 minutes on foot from Higashiyama Station, which is served by the Tozai Line.
As there is no parking lot on-site, patrons are advised to use public transport wherever possible.
