Latest on Nijo Castle

Nijo-jo Castle in Kyoto is beautiful during the spring cherry blossom season. Since the grounds are large, be sure to commit an hour or so to covering the entire area. Just when you think you've seen all that you're going to see, you turn a corner and there are more delights to behold! Another bonus is that even though a lot of people visit, because it is such a large place you never feel like you are in the midst of a crowd.
