From August 28th until November 3rd, the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum will be hosting an exhibition titled "Living in Symbiosis with Forests and Water". The event will explore the relationship between humans and nature through a variety of different artworks.

Some of the pieces on display at the event will include the likes of Ferdinand Hodler's "Woodcutter" (1910), Taro Okamoto's "Law of the Jungle" (1950), and Claude Monet's "Water Lilies" (1907).

There will also be a themed lunch plate available at the Musée Restaurant Zen located on the second floor of the venue.

Getting there

The Nagano Prefectural Art Museum can be easily accessed via bus from the JR Nagano Station. Head out the Zenkoji Exit to Bus Stop number 1, and take Alpico Kotsu Bus No. 11 for Uki via Zenkoji, No. 16 for Wakatsuki Tojo via Zenkoji / Wakatsuki housing complex, or No. 17 for Wakatsuki Tojo via Zenkoji. The ride time from the station to the museum is approximately 15 minutes.
